Mariel is the Co-founder and Director of Properly, an independent estate agency built around a self employed model. With extensive experience in the London property market, she works closely with Properly Partners, helping experienced estate agents build their own businesses with the freedom to work independently and the support of an established team around them. Mariel also mentors and supports new Partners as they make the move into self employment, drawing on her experience of building and running an estate agency.

Grace Leslie

Grace is based in SE26 and has extensive experience across the London property market, with a particular focus on South East London where she has lived for the past eleven years.

Having grown up in South London, Grace has worked in property for more than 17 years. She began her career in estate agency covering Camberwell and Clapham before moving into the world of design led development in Central London. In recent years, she has successfully run her own business as a property consultant, primarily supporting buyers, with a strong focus on helping first time buyers take their first step onto the property ladder.

With a creative background and having studied at art college in London, Grace was naturally drawn towards property through her longstanding passion for architecture and design, inspired by her architect father.

Over the years, she has also supported clients with renovation projects, bringing a strong eye for detail and helping homeowners create thoughtfully designed living spaces whilst enhancing the long term value of their properties.

With more than ten years’ experience helping buyers and sellers across London and Surrey, Matthew understands that moving home is about far more than bricks and mortar.

Having worked as a Senior Negotiator, Valuer and Sales Manager, Matthew brings extensive market knowledge together with a calm, approachable style.
